These are the concentrations recommended by Hayward for each water parameter. It is important to check your water regularly and maintain these concentrations to limit corrosion or deterioration of surfaces.

• Free chlorine: 1.0 to 3.0 ppm
• pH: 7.2 to 7.6
• Total alkalinity: 80 to 120 ppm
• Water hardness: 200 to 300 ppm
• Metals: 0 ppm
• Saturation index: - 0.2 to 0.2 (preferred value is 0)
