How do I choose the right filter for my pool?

To choose the right filter for your pool, you should take into account the following points:

• Filtration technology: sand, cartridge or diatomaceous earth. The type of filter used affects the resulting water clarity and the comfort of swimmers in the pool.
• The required flow rate: to calculate this value, 4 to 6 hours are required on average for all water in the pool to be filtered.
• Filter operation: contrary to cartridge filters, sand filters and diatomaceous earth filters require backwashing and therefore involve releasing water into the wasterwater system.
• Space available in the plant room: due to their small size, cartridge filters are perfect for small plant rooms.
